Plymouth Leander Level 1 Open MeetMillfield School Pool, 5th -7th December 2008 ......Lucy Davies also secured 2nd place in the 9-10 year olds 400m freestyle and 3rd place in the 100m breaststroke. Holly Gullick also had a fantastic swim getting a silver in the 100 back stroke (11-12yr olds). Congratulations also go to Millie Dadds who was 2nd in the 200m breast stroke out of the 9 year old girls. Well done everyone! A special mention also has to go to Bernie Nicol - a much loved & admired previous head coach of Weston club, who sadly passed away 2 days before the start of this meet. As a memorial to Bernie the swimmers wrote on their bodies "swimming in loving memory of Bernie"
